How to apply for British citizenship?

Hi, I was born in England specifically in Birmingham city on 22nd december 1989, I lived there with my parents. Then I left the UK in 1993 and now I live in Dubai. Now I'm 19 years old, so I'm wondering if I still have the right to apply for British citizenship. How to apply for British citizenship?
Hello Anas,

Chances are that you're ALREADY British Citizen. This explains it to you

Here's another

You're AUTOMATICALLY a British Citizen if your mum is one. If she's not and your dad is and he's married her. Most likely that's the case. Because of the laws there. Again, you already have it. If neither of them is the case then you have to go to the British Embassy in Dubai.

I suggest the first point of query is to you parents, starting your mum. Obviously they've got passports. Ask them about the passports. If the line between their given name(s) and Date of Birth it says the magic word ';BRITISH CITIZEN';. Then you're okay.

If this the case and you want a British Passport. Go to the Embassy and ask the form passport C1 or indeed you can download here http://centralcontent.fco.gov.uk/resourc鈥?/a> and print or save it. The accompanying notes are here http://centralcontent.fco.gov.uk/resourc鈥?/a> What they want is your birth certificate, details about your parents.

If NEITHER of them are British at the time of you birth. The I strongly advise you to go to the embassy for advice. How to apply for British citizenship?
If at least one of ur parents is British %26amp; was British at the time of ur birth, then YES. If None of them is British .. then NO, you have no right to claim British Citizenship.
Only if they were both here (UK) legally.

Contact the British Embassy. in Dubai,They are very good at this sort of thing.
consult the Britih embassy in Dubai
I figured you are a national of the country you were born in.
