How do you apply your eyeliner to look ';emo';?

It's a REALLY stupid question, but I attempt at it, and cannot get it. So any tips and advice would be appreciated. NO HARRASSERSHow do you apply your eyeliner to look ';emo';?

apply a dark gray eyeshadow then black eyeliner (follow the natural shape of your eye) on the bottom apply the same black eyeliner next get an eye shadow applicator and dip it in black eyeshadow then smudge over ur eyeliner on the top and bottom to make it look darker and smokier.
well emo is a label for any one who is sad or very emotional so there is no real way of doing your makeup emo! but most people are referred to emo when their eye liner is a medium line all the way around the eye!
Its fun to do, I know! I usually just take my liner and put it on the bottom lid, then I smudge it a little!


Dont forget to put it on the top!
I assume you are using black eyeliner...use it to line outside your lower lashes, then using a qtip or your finger smudge it a little bit. You may have to apply a few layers to get the right amount. If you are going a little more dramatic, use the same liner to line inside your lashes on the lower lid (this is tricky, just let the pencil glide along the ridge in front of your eye...be careful not to poke yourself.) You're eyes may water a bit if you do it inside the lashes, but that will just cause the inner part to fade a little bit.


Personally I wouldn't use liner on the top lid...generally that is overkill.

Wow, I forgot that the whole emo thing isn't about the music anymore, but style. Weird. You actually strive to be emo? Be yourself, kiddo. Do the makeup the way YOU want to. Play around and find out what fits you best, not what the emo kids do.





Don't they just look off of their bands? Pretty sure every emo kid I knew did that. Yep.





make sure you have lots of black eyeliner and mascara to stain your tears so you can cry black tears...or ask your friends? yeah..
hmm since im emo i soo know the answer all u have to do is take a really black eyeliner and apply it to the bottom slightly thick then take it to the top and do the same but start really thin at the corner fo your eye and then get thicker as you move along the eye then make it kinda like a cat eye in the very end of your eye its really awesome then take some black eyeshadow with shimmers in it to make it smokey looking then apply that all the way around your eye!
im supposing that you want it the way i wear it,so heres how i go about it





-first,make sure you have a GOOD eyeliner,SOFT is best,and as dark black as you can get it. DONT try liquid untill you know what youre doing.





-now,make sure your eyes are clean and dry,not with the lids all oily and whatnot





-pull on the outer corner of your eye,by pressing your fingerright in the corner and pulling towards your hairline,and close ONLY that eye.





-make a straight,THIN like with the eyeliner on the top lid,RIGHT along your lash line,and then open your eye to see how it looks. continue to bulid the line GRADUALLY thicker untill it looks right for you





-for the bottom,basicly just use the entire surface of the pencil to LIGHTLY (try to do it in almost a dabbing sweepy motion) put it on your lashline,and do the inner-rim part





if it seems to heavy at first,lightly dab at it with some toilet paper to lighen it just a smidge. I will usually use mascara too, it helps fill in difference in color where your eyeliner didnt quite reach down into the lashes.





this looks magnificent with other colors too. ive got a friend who does a sort of bright green tourquoise-y color of eyeshadow over her whole lid,then does the liner in white. spectacular.
you dont need to put it on you need help
just put WAY too much on and kinda mess it up so it looks like you cried rite after you put it on.

I dont use eye liner because last time I tryd I almost poked my eye out!!! mabey you should think of a way to make your shadow look emo or play with it a bit untill you find what you like!
