How do you apply woodstain finish to cabinet?

i want to have a wood stain finish of my cabinet how will i do it? thanksHow do you apply woodstain finish to cabinet?
If its rough at all sand it with 220 grit sand paper then wipe the dust off with a tack cloth. Get a sponge brush, brush the stain on then wipe it off thoroughly and let it dry. I recommend using a polyurethane for a top coat, it will protect the wood and give it a nice finish. Put 2-3 coats on it with a natural bristle brush Polyurethane takes quite awhile to dry so if you do use it make sure its completely dry before putting another coat on. Also buff in between each coat with a sanding spongeHow do you apply woodstain finish to cabinet?
make certain your wood is sanded smooth, and wipe or vacuum clean. stain sometimes goes on better and smoother if you use a sock. put a painting glove on your hand, then insert it into the sock, dip it into the stain and evenly coat the wood. Between coats of poly, always go over every surface with 00 steel wool, and wipe clean or vacuum.
If it is bare wood that has no finish on it, then you just paint it on with a paint brush. If it is already finished, you need to remove the first finish. You can buy solutions to do that or sand it off with a very fine sandpaper.
with a brush
