How to apply makeup to look fresh and natural on fair skin?

I am trying to look natural but at the same time brighten up my face. I dont like to use foundation. I usually use cover upo and then a powder to keep the shine down. I have the worst trouble with eyeliner! I LOVE lip glosses. I put a little blush on. Everything works okay, but I want it to look more dewy, and less bland. Any suggestion. How to apply makeup to look fresh and natural on fair skin?
same problem here. i found clinique city base, followed by a light dusting of pressed powder. i finish that off with benefit's dallas on my cheeks, forehead and chin. if you dont like base you could try just your usual powder (or try the cover girl powder in the grey compact--cant remember the name but they claim it makes your skin radiant, i like it) then dallas. it really looks great!

ps: you may also try benefit's high beam on the top of your cheeks for that glow/dewy look. it's expensive but it's good stuff. How to apply makeup to look fresh and natural on fair skin?
bare essentials no question.. it looks like you arent wearing make up and is so easy to put on and fast. bare essentials has a full line of make up from foundation to lip gloss and everything in between. check it out at qvc.com or just go to their website.
some great makeup tips on this site
apply a good moisturizer to your face before ur makeup and let it set for 5 minutes...then put ur makeup on...skip the powder..that makes skin cakey and dull lookkng....
Try ';Billy Bobs foundation filler';. Use a putty knife.

More makeup is great for that white trash look.

(hint: Most (not all) men don't like heavy makeup on women or even other men. %26lt;g%26gt;
try loreal true match compact powder, its really good. u'll get natural look. use some blushes coz its make u look natural. just find some lipgloss which is really suite you.

use vassaline petroleum jell on ur lips before go 2 bed to make ur lip look more shine
you could try a little bronzer. to liven up your face!
When you put on ur foundation add a moisteriser to ur face first in little blotches around ur face and then put the foundation on the tips of ur fingers then when you put the foundation it rub the foundation and moisterizer together and blend it in. This will make it look much more natural, the foundation wont blotch when you sweat, and it wont make the foundation look to heavy. Plus if you use a tinted moisterizer it will add a glow to the skin and look sun kissed without any fake tan. And not only does ur skin look good but the moisterizer make ur skin really soft and eventully all u'll have to use is the moisterizer cause the skin looks soo good. But dont use a powder it will defeat the whole purpose of the moisterizer.
Have you tried mineral makeup? I hated foundation, too until I started using MMU.

I use Bare Escentuals. IMO it is the finest MMU you can buy. It is light, fresh and makes you look flawless and not made up. The Mineral Veil is a translucent powder that is super-lightweight and keeps down shine and helps diminish the appearance of pores.

I was helpless with eyeliner until I tried their liner shadows and brush. Now, I can line my eyes like a pro. And it is fast and easy.

They also make beautiful blushes, all over face colours, eye colours, lipsticks and lip gloss.

I have used this brand for over five years and would not consider using anything else.
Read some tips and articles on make up on this site
try a mask for your face if you do not like the foundation. use the Cucumber mask it is very good. and their are many other in the supermerket of differnt brands
I would like to know the same thing, so I will be watching this question!
THESE ARE EXAMPLES AND GIVE ME A DEWY LOOK BUT USE WHAT YOU LIKE! THIS IS ALL OPTIONAL, LIKE I DONT WEAR EYELINER EVERYDAY, BUT THIS IS HOW I APPLY IT IF I DO.

Maybelline SHINEFree Loose Powder (wlagreens $3)

Generic Kabuki Brush (walgreens $3)

CoverGirl Powder Blush (walgreens $2)

Generic Blush Brush (walgreens $2)

Revlon Eyelash Curler (walgreens $3)

CoverGirl Lash Exact Mascara (walgreens $7)

N.Y.C. Eyeliner (walgreens $1)

Revlon Illumanance Creme Shadow (biglots $2)

Any kind of lipgloss most are cheap you know.. ($1-3)

Tap a medium amount of powder in the lid and swirl with the kabuki brush make sure all the powder is tucked up in the bristles and tap your brush on the rim of the lid to get excess powder off. Apply using circular motions over entire face and under chin.

Use blush brush to swirl lightly over the blush tap excess off brush and apply in circular motion over cheeck bones and nose. Apply sparingly to forehead and chin if you feel like it.

Using Revlon lash curler close your eyes 2/3 way so you can see what your doing and curl lashes from base to tip, holding about 5 seconds in each section (e.g. base, middle, tip)

Apply mascara to lashes above, and sparingly to lower lashes.

Use eyeliner under the lower lashes, never on the inner rim, this could cause conjuntivitis and makes the eyes appear smaller.

Revlon Creme shadow comes in many many many different colors and assortments, this is best because you mix and match the shades. I usually apply it to the lower part of my eye lid instead of up to my brow bone, but it's up to you.

For lipstick start in the center of your upper lip and go outwards following the curve of your lips. Rub them together and to make your lips look bigger apply the lipstick sparingly to the arches of your upper lip.

Hope I helped!

Me ♥

I am also not advertising for walgreens or biglots, this is just where I get my stuff and how much it is, an example if you will.
