How do u apply to start gaining credit?

I have no credit right now. How can i gain credit? How do u apply to start gaining credit?
Use it wisely. Only use a credit card for what you can afford and pay it off each month. Large purchases such as appliances should be done with a loan and paid off as soon as possible. Missing payment, making them late, or having too many cards will affect your credit negatively. How do u apply to start gaining credit?
Buy a car, get a criedt card, start making payments, but say on time and you will build creidt
dont it will only get you in trouble - trust me
Pay of any debts you have then pay for things by cash.
You would need to try to get some credit cards or get some type of credit. It's hard to get credit if you don't have it. You may need to get some credit cards that are secured and make payments on them so you will have some sort of payment record to reflect good payment history. Have you got your credit report? You may think you have no credit because you have no credit cards but in fact, you have credit if you: rent, have a mortgage, have a car loan....all that goes on your credit records. Even good payments of your utilities will reflect on you. Getting credit when you have none, however is almost as hard as getting credit when you have a poor credit rating. Get a car loan, that is the easiest way to get good credit. If you don't want to do that, go with the secured credit card and make sure you request that they post your credit record to the reporting agencies. In six months you should have a good enough score to be able to cancel the secured cards and get real credit.
Go to your banking institution and ask them if they have a secure bank card, normally they will and its $100.00, you put that money into that account, and from there use it on gas and go pay it off the next week. keep that balance at $100 and after about 6 months of knowing you can keep that account at $100 then apply for a real card. But when they ask what limit you would like set the limit at $500.00 and that's enough for most emergency's, but not enough to get you into a world of trouble.

It will build your credit if you use the card and pay it right off. With this when you are older and need credit it will be there but you wont have more debt to income ratio.

Credit is great but lots of people miss use it and get themselves into trouble.

I have two cc's and both have large limits on them but in the 8 yrs of having them i have only used them once or twice. They live in my safe unless i have to use them.

Good Luck.

Hope this helps
