How do you apply cellophane to dark hair?

I've got this brand called adore...and i have dark hair with natural streaks....the only parts that take the cellophane are my light brown streaks....when my cousin did my cellophane it worked without using heat....does anyone know what i should do?How do you apply cellophane to dark hair?
This product is like a stain. It shows up differently on different levels of hair color. If you want more color you should try a slightly stronger color. Wella Presentation is a semi-permanent that will give you a more even tone. If you wanting a red tone ( just to give an example) and your hair is naturally med-dk brown you are only going to see the red in the light unless you lighten slightly. You can not expect to see a Strawberry Blond or Golden light Brown on dark hair. Cellophanes do work better with heat. It is also good to apply twice for a more vivid result. Do not shampoo again once it is removed for 24-48 hours. Use only color safe shampoo and cond. Avoid sun, tanning beds or chlorine. Best of luck.
