I have a pirates of the caribbean patch that i need to put over a hole on my favorite pair of jeans and i dont wanna screw it up and the patch didnt come with directions. help?How do you apply a patch to a pair of jeans?

Get a needle and thread and sew it on.
is it sticky/shiny on the back? if it is its a iron on if not then just whip stitch it on lay the jeans flat pin it to the spot and neatly sew around the edges
take it to the dry cleaners.
